Hummus
Making a quick snack that feeds the entire family can have its challenges. This one works well and even the 5-year-old can help you make it. Extra bonus: It’s a complete protein, and with the hemp seeds you bring in added protein and essential fatty acids that help with inflammation and feed the brain!

Here’s what you’ll need:
1 Cup Garbanzo Beans
1 Garlic Clove
2 Tablespoons Hemp Seeds
1 Tablespoon Tahini (pureed sesame seeds)
Pinch of Salt
2-3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
½ teaspoon Fresh Lemon Juice
Splash of Water
Make it
Start by blending the garlic in a Vitamix or blender, then add in the hemp seeds with a splash of water. Next the garbanzo beans, olive oil, tahini, salt and lemon juice. Blend until smooth – add water or additional olive oil if needed for smoothness.
