Do you feel Abundant?

This has nothing to do with money, really, it simply is a feeling we hold internally. In my career, I have been blessed to work with Fortune 500 executives, moguls, and a variety of amazing and ordinary people.

The one thing I have always found is that money alone really does nothing.

The most successful people, I know, have taken my 4 components of health to heart – exercise and movement, food and nutrition, sleep and relaxation, and happiness. Without these 4 things balanced, and in check, all the money in the world, can not move the needle to an abundant life.

It’s kind of like a car, a car will not perform at its best, without quality gas and oil, tire pressure, tune-ups, and a cooling system. If one of those components is more prominent than the other, the car will soon fail to drive.

So, here we are in an era where success is such a buzzword, yet the true meaning of that is oblivious.

Do you want to be successful?

Then its time to work from the inside out. I see so many clients that may have monetary success,  but they are not happy, or have no idea how to balance out their daily stresses. Many of them, feel like they have no time to deal with these issues. Well, if the car has no time for a tune-up, or an oil change for that matter, guess what? It doesn’t go very far!

As you create your ideal world, full of abundance, keep in mind that your health, and well being, has a HUGE part to play in it. Life has become faster, with so many more demands, yet many of those demands we create in our own mind. Here are a few pointers to get you started:

Exercise and Movement

You can go to the gym, take a class, or simply add some pep in your step during the day.  Your goal…increase your heart rate and lift heavy things (with proper form, of course).

Food and Nutrition

Limit processed foods, minimize sugars (sugar, flour, dairy, and alcohol), add protein and fats to every meal and snack, and drink plenty of water – this is your Nutrition 101 in a nutshell!!

Sleep and Relaxation

Ideally you want to wake up in the mornings – ready to get up.  No snooze!  This tells you that you had SOUND sleep.  On the flip side, reducing your stresses throughout the day, and recognizing the things that trigger you, amps up your health and helps to absorb nutrition from your foods in a much more efficient manner.

Happiness

Laughing, smiling, giggling, and overall contentment is a powerful antioxidant.  You can boost up your immune system and recover quicker from life’s craziness.

Instead of running around, trying to do so many things for so many people, STOP! Take a moment to inventory what you do for YOU. Do you have your 4 components of health working for you, or against you? Make the changes you need, and an abundant life is right around the corner.
