Here’s What You’ll Need
- 2/3 Cups Medjool Dates – Pureed
- ½ Cup Grass Fed Butter (you can also replace with Cold Pressed Un-Refined Coconut Oil) – Melted
- 3 Large Eggs (organic, free-range, pasture fed is best)
- ½ teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
- ½ cup Almond Flour
- 1/3 Cup Raw Cacao Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Gelatin (grass-fed preferred)
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Celtic Sea Salt
- ¼ Cup Water
- 1/3 Cup Dark Chocolate Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Make It:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and grease an 8-inch square baking pan
- In a large bowl, whisk together the pureed dates, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla
extract. - Add in the almond flour, cacao powder, gelatin, baking powder, and salt and
whisk until well combined. - Slowly stir in the water to smooth the batter. Add in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter in the greases baking pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the
edges look set but the center seems a bit wet. Remove from the oven and let
cool completely in the pan before cutting into pieces. The brownies are meant to
be gooey and fudgy!!
